Allow me to introduce myself. {handshake} Cathy Marshburn. I am the owner/designer of Cathy's Creations and "Purse Passion"™ home shows. I would like to take you on a journey that will place you where you are this very minute - my website. Sometime after my son went to pre-school, our family's need was to find a perfect fit between me staying at home with our child (or carting him to school or where ever else he needed to go) and to have an income. Well, that's where my husband comes in... Christmas of 2002 brings this nice big embroidery/sewing thing. I have always enjoyed sewing and have been now for the better part of 30 years (I know, started when I was 2). Now my thought was, "What am I going to do with this thing?" It's huge and has all these hoop thingies. To say the least, I was a little intimidated by this new MACHINE, known to me now as a BabyLock Ellageo embroidery/sewing machine. So, it stayed in the box. A few months went by after a small grieving period of losing my beloved German Shepard "Gracie". {You will later visit one of my custom purse pages named for this wonderful pet.} I then needed to focus on the task at hand. What was the point of this MACHINE? Again, this is where darling hubby comes in...Well, it just so happened that it ties into the staying at home and having a job thing. ...MORE TO COME!
